At the bottom of each page of the e-portfolio are instructions to show you how to build a similar page. You can use this mock e-portfolio as an instructional tutorial for creating your own portfolio using Weebly. |
E-Portfolio Website Builders
Weebly is a free drag-and-drop website builder that was used to create the example portfolios featured on this page. It was even used to create this entire RN2BSN Resources website.

Wix provides more functionality than Weebly, such as animated buttons and transitions. However, these features do come with an increased learning curve for those new to building websites.
|
Google Sites provides a very easy-to-use interface for building websites. It does not have as many bells and whistles as other website builders, so it is best for students who are looking to keep things simple.

D2L E-Portfolio Tool
Brightspace by D2L includes a built-in e-portfolio tool that allows you to pull assignments and other content that you have created from all of your D2L courses. Although you may still need to build an e-portfolio website, D2L's tool can be used throughout your coursework to gather items for your final portfolio in one easy place.
This video provides an overview of the e-portfolio tool, and you may also view Brightspace's entire YouTube playlist of e-portfolio tutorials. |
